Cook County Commissioner Bill Lowry, 3rd District, the Women’s Board of the DuSable Museum of African American History’s, and the FriendRaiser Ambassadors, invite all to celebrate the presentation of DuSable Museum Student Memberships to institutions of academic excellence throughout Cook County, nominated by FriendRaiser Ambassadors and the DuSable Museum Women’s Board.
The DuSable Museum Women’s Board and FriendRaiser Ambassadors continue to actively support the DuSable Museum in its endeavor as the oldest caretaker of African American history and culture in the United States. Part of this support requires supporting our students. It is imperative that we expose our students to our culture, art, heritage, and history through DuSable membership. This past July, our FriendRaiser Membership Campaign successfully raised $20,102.35, increasing DuSable memberships with over 100 new and/or renewed memberships. Donations to the Friendraiser campaign will allow them to gift 94 DuSable Museum Student Memberships to 47 nominated schools in Cook County (2 student memberships per school).
