4 in double figures as Bulls cruise
With Nikola Mirotic out with appendicitis likely until after All-Star break, the Bulls will need a much more efficient team game on this 7 game road trip. They got that tonight as Jimmy Butler scored 26 points and dropped a game high 10 assists to lead the Bulls to a 114-91 win over the Lakers at Staples Center. Pau Gasol (21 pts 12 rebs) had a solid game as he returned to his old home where he helped win 2 championships. Derrick Rose chipped in with 16 pts 7 rebs and 5 ast and Doug McDermott had 15 pts. Jordan Clarkson led the Lakers with 16 points.
The Bulls face the LA Clippers Sunday at 2:30pm.
