Oh What A Party!
The birthday party of the year, themed Cirque Du Tresa, celebrated the 50 and Fabulous Tresa Dunbar Garrett, held at the Union League Club Chicago with over 300 guests in attendance. The party featured circus acts, mimes, aerialist and many more. Video games were set up throughout the room, star studded guest list, and live marching band to set the tone. Music provided by “Hype Man”, DJ Duerell Jones, the party was absolutely amazing!
High School Students Rip the Runway
Prom Fantasy Experience presented their 12th annual teen fashion show. Val Warner served as the Mistress of Ceremonies at The DuSable Museum of African American History. 28 high school students participated in a fashion show after weeks of workshops to build confidence, poise, and service through modeling. The RH Dreams is a non profit organization that partnered with The Well, Pretty Girl Certified, The Bureau, That Girl Boutique, Men’s Wearhouse (Canal Street location), and the Hyatt Corporation to provide scholarships for models. The students represented schools across the city and south suburbs. These young men and women slayed the runway.

UNCF Raising Money for HBCU’s!
The United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Chicago Inter-Alumni Council, celebrated Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) with an old school party themed, “Denim & Diamonds” at the Harrah’s Casino, Joliet. President-Brianna Pullium, Michelle Marion- Chairperson, and Dr. Blondean Y. Davis-Honorary Chairperson, along with an awesome committee partied with a purpose featuring comedian Jeremiah Frazier.
