Amanda Bynes Tweets That Obamas Are ‘Ugly’

In the latest chapter in the Amanda Bynes saga, the former child TV star of Nickelodeon’s “All That, The Amanda Show” and “What I Like About You” sent out the following Tweet on Monday about President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama: The tweet is just the latest in Bynes,’ who has also starred in films “Hairspray” and “Big Fat Liar,” erratic behavior. Last April, Bynes was pulled over[2] for drunken driving, in May, she threw[3] a bong from her Manhattan apartment, and later that month, she showed up for a court case with a platinum wig (pictured below). This week’s tweet doesn’t mark the first time Byne’s called someone “ugly” through social media. Bynes also tweeted[4] “Ugly Face” to Jay-Z, with a picture of the rapper on February 7th. President Announces New ConnectEd Digital Education Initiative

As part of his “Middle Class Jobs & Opportunity Tour,” President Barack Obama has traveled to North Carolina to announce a new digital education initiative that aims to give 99 percent of students access to high-speed Internet and wireless connectivity. Obama will deliver the announcement at Mooresville Middle School in North Carolina this afternoon, a school that has benefited greatly from the use of upgraded technology and digital learning. The program, “ConnectEd,” will essentially expand Internet use nationwide in nearly all K-12 schools within a five-year span. The President will not require action from Congress on this plan but instead will reach out to Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The President will request that the FCC adjust its current "Schools and Libraries" or "E-Rate" program, which offers a discounted telecommunications rate for schools and ...

IRS Tea Party Investigation Is Good For Our Society

One of my favorite book series is Anne Rice’s “The Vampire Chronicles.” They include her books “Interview with a Vampire,” “The Vampire Lestat,” and “Queen of the Damned,” among others. These stories sucked you right in. They are fun reads and fast paced. In these stories, you read of certain characters that are whispered about and referred to as “Those Who Must Be Kept.” It turns out that “those who must be kept” are the two original vampires, Kemet’s Queen Akasha and King Enkil. They were created as vampires by a spirit more than 5,000 years ago. According to the book’s legend, what happens to “those who must be kept” will happen to all other vampires, and so it was with similar interest that I followed the 21st century’s first IRS tax scandal. If you are unaware, the scandal hit the news several weeks ago, when it was revealed that the IRS was targeting conservative Tea Party groups for extra scrutiny in their ...
