Students at Lavizzo Elementary School took an oath Wednesday to stay gun-free during the 15th Annual National Day of Concern Student Pledge. Chicago police officers from the Calumet District spent the day at the school in Roseland encouraging students to take the pledge to not use guns and find non-violent ways to solve conflicts.
