Marriage is challenging perhaps even more so when you spend most of all your time together but Paul says, “It works for us. She’s my best friend whom I can trust, talk to and confide. She knows what I am going through because she is right there in the grind with me daily! She get’s it! She gets me.”

Wendy has 30 years in the industry in which she has propelled as a result of her world-class training under Floyd Kenyatta, Global ambassador of Paul Mitchell and Toni & Guy as well as her due diligence.  Wendy brings a vast amount of knowledge, style and experience in hair dressing and hair-care, which has allowed her to create unique tailored looks specific to the new millennium client. Wendy’s decision-making skills and ability to articulate an idea into an art form for each of her clients has kept her in high demand with a following of loyal clients who speak and tweet enthusiastically about her services. Consequently Wendy’s reputation as a stylist specializing in short hair has made her one of the most sought after stylist in the City of Chicago!

So as a team Paul and Wendy are Triple A, awesome, amazing and astounding working together bringing full circle a full-service salon. Success in their own right as leaders in the beauty industry propelled Paul to gravitate towards a leadership role in the American Beauty Show. He began as a volunteer and according to Paul, “It was the right thing to do for an industry professional such as myself.” Attracted to the ABS, Paul says, “Because I care about the advancement, opportunities, security and support for my fellow cosmetologist and barbers who have given so much to be apart of this great industry.”

Paul hasn’t been disappointed in the show nor his involvement. The impact of the ABS has been of great consequence on the beauty industry. Paul says cosmetologists and Chicago  protect and build our industry as well as the   salon professional by  lobbying for our professional licenses  and keeping everyone in the industry informed  of changes that occur within the State of Illinois.” Chicago recognizes the value of the beauty industry to the city. So it’s easy to understand the importance of its role. Paul says perhaps most important, “Last but not least every year the American Beauty Show provides advanced education and scholarships to help those of us intricately involved in beauty industry improve our technical, communication and business skills.
