We think not!
On May 2, 2026, Spirit Airlines ceased operating and canceled all of its scheduled flights. U.S. citizens overseas whose return flights to the United States were canceled should work with other carriers to book new flights.
Flights on other carriers may fill up quickly; be patient and be prepared especially if you’re considering the closest alternative, Frontier Airlines. While Spirit certainly has issues which ultimately led to it’s demise, Frontier from the onset, from reservation booking to boarding passes and baggage tags and God forbid you should need help from a human on site, the ordeal is probably going to make you miss Spirit and all of the challenges and nightmare experiences you had with that airline will pale in comparion with the Frontier Airlines and the issues you experienced with Spirit will begin to fade.
For Spirit travelers left in the cold, you should work with airlines, their travel agents and other travel industry professionals to continue your travels.
