Roseland CeaseFire leads peace march

The Roseland CeaseFire Project, along with community organizations and ministries, led a community peace march Saturday to raise awareness of the continuing gun violence affecting all parts of the city.

The Roseland CeaseFire Project, along with community organizations and ministries, led a community peace march Saturday to raise awareness of the continuing gun violence affecting all parts of the city.

The march was held in honor of 30-year-old Demond Stansbury, a former UPS employee who was shot and killed last month on 105th Street and Indiana Avenue. The march was held on the same block where he was killed and two others were shot. Stansbury died, leaving behind his fiancee, Sarah, and 14-month-old daughter.
