“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida, estranged husband of Phaedra Parks, has reportedly told the media that he was transferred to a minimum security prison with the expectation that he will be released much sooner than originally sentenced.
Apollo Nida has been transferred from the Kentucky Prison for a for a new correctional facility. The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Nida, 37, was moved from Kentucky’s FMC Lexington to New Jersey’s FCI Fort Dix.
“He transferred about two weeks ago,” an insider told radaronline.com.
Several weeks Nida revealed to RadarOnline.com in a jailhouse letter that he would soon be released from the center.
However, the Bureau of Prisons knocked his claims, saying that Nida’s release date stands at August 29, 2020.
But Nida won’t be too lonely while completing his remaining yaers in prison, seeing that his fellow reality TV star Joe Giudice will be in the same New Jersey prison once he begins seving his fraud sentence in March 2016.
