Rev. Dr. Walter B. Johnson, Jr. of Greater Institutional AME & Rev. Dr. Joseph B. Gordon of Carter Temple CME to march in protest of the deaths of Eric Garner, Michael Brown and countless others.
A call to action and prayer for the community will be read at 79th & the Dan Ryan to stop the violence and unjust police brutality against young black men.
The event begins at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec.14, at Greater Institutional Church, 7800 S. Indiana Ave., and ends at 79th & Dan Ryan.
The event is sponsored by Greater Institutional AME Church in conjunction with Carter Temple CME Church, various community leaders, organizations and area residents.
