Fourteen-year-old DeVonte Whiteside, or N.A.$.A., is quickly making a name for himself as a Hip-hop artists in the Chicagoland area.

N.A.$.A. has been performing since age 7 and was inspired by relatives who are also in the business. He’s constantly putting his thoughts on paper and is always in the studio as he works on his debut CD.

Now that school’s out, he’ll be spending more time in the studio.

When asked the three people he’d love to collaborate with, he told the Defender, “Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z.”

He recently got a chance to perform for his teachers, who were pleasantly surprised at his skills, at his 8th-grade luncheon.
