At the heart of Memoire Skincare lies a commitment to revolutionizing the anti-aging and skin rejuvenation approach.

With a focus on holistic wellness and ethical beauty, Allison Perkins-Caldwell and her daughter Autumn’s cruelty-free skincare line allows you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and timeless elegance. Memoire Skincare offers solutions for hyperpigmentation, dark circles and scarring, ensuring everyone can achieve healthier, more radiant skin.

The Dynamic Duo Behind Memoire Skincare

Allison, a veteran, author, registered nurse, and esthetician, launched the skincare line to maintain her beautiful skin. As she developed the business, she included Autumn, who not only served as the face of the brand but also played a crucial role in running and growing the company.

Autumn, an aspiring actress and model, is a 2024 HBCU graduate of Howard University.

When asked what makes this skincare line unique, Allison said, “It’s our innovative ingredients. We have an advanced delivery system. We customize our skincare solutions. We commit to clean beauty. We have a holistic wellness philosophy. We have sustainable, ethical practices and scientific validation.”

Empowering Through Skincare

“Our goal is to provide skincare products and a transformative experience,” Allison said, “That empowers our customers to look and feel their best at every age.”

This brand shines as a beacon of hope for those seeking to embrace graceful aging.

According to Allison, its innovative formulations revitalize the skin’s natural resilience and promote a youthful glow through meticulously sourced ingredients. Memoire Skincare is designed for all skin types. Whether you have acne-prone skin, aging skin or want to improve your skin’s health, our products can help.

A Personal Journey to Healthy Skin

“As I started discussing my concern, I discovered I wasn’t alone. Others were struggling with it, too. So, I began researching products and finding ways to get my skin healthy again,” said Allison.

“I considered my diet, the products I used and the impact of stress and other environmental factors. I started documenting everything, and that’s how Memoire was born.”

Allison recently appointed her daughter, Autumn, as the Memoire Brand Ambassador and is also in preparation to become CEO of the company. This strategic move strengthens the brand’s leadership and showcases the powerful bond and shared vision between mother and daughter.

Autumn said, “As far as just being a brand ambassador. It makes me happy that my mom would trust me enough to make me the face of it. And trust me enough to, you know, have this baby. You know this is a baby, and then pass it on to me to just put out a positive message to everybody and, you know, show that black girl magic.”

Creating a Lasting Legacy

When asked about Memoire’s legacy, our interviewee shared her vision of a company that empowers Black women to start their businesses.

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]”I see Memoire as a beautiful company that will inspire other Black women to venture into entrepreneurship,” Allison explained. “Many talented women have great ideas but often hesitate to take the first step.” [/perfectpullquote]

“Starting is the hardest part, but you realize you can do it once you begin. I hope our products motivate people to explore their talents and start their ventures. Our legacy will be one of empowerment for families, especially Black women.”

Advice for Entrepreneurial Mothers

When the discussion turned to advice for mothers who want to build businesses with their children, Allison’s message was clear and passionate.

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]”Go for it. If you have a solution to a problem, share it with the world. Please don’t keep it to yourself. Sometimes, people treat their ideas like a secret recipe, but if you have something beautiful, pass it down to your children and share it with the world,” she said. [/perfectpullquote]

“They will appreciate it, and God will reward you for it. Don’t move in fear.”

Memorable Experiences and Future Plans

The duo also shared a memorable experience from the Juneteenth celebration: meeting Lynn Whitfield, the legendary Hollywood actress.

“Meeting Actress Lynn Whitfield was incredible. She was kind and genuinely interested in everyone’s stories. It was inspiring to see someone I admire being so supportive. We also had the chance to meet Jason Weaver, who gave me valuable advice. These moments have been truly enriching,” said Autumn.

In addition, Memoire Skincare will soon be featured on billboards in downtown Chicago, timed with events like the Black Women’s Expo and the upcoming Democratic National Convention. “We’ll be showcasing our products on digital boards downtown, and it’s exciting to see our message reaching a broader audience,” said Allison.

Allison also discussed her 14-book children’s series, “Fat Cat and the Family,” reflecting on her childhood experiences in Englewood. The first seven books cover essential life lessons, while the next seven focus on math and exploration of the seven continents.

“The series includes open-ended questions to engage children and help them connect with the stories,” she said.
