Rasheeda’s husband Kirk Frost of “Love and Hip Hip Atlanta” has been arrested and charged with multiple infractions this past weekend after participating in a wild bike rally that tore through the center of the city, Atlanta authorities stated.
Police said approximately 400 dirt bikes, ATVs and other two- and three-wheeled vehicles participated in an out-of-control rally in Atlanta, mostly in the Midtown area Sunday afternoon. Cameras captured many of them disobeying traffic laws, including running red lights and driving on the wrong side of the road.
One officer observed a three-wheeled, red Polaris Slingshot that ran multiple red lights and drove on the wrong side of the road.
After pulling the vehicle over, Kirk Frost, 46, was arrested on multiple charges, including reckless driving, operating an unregistered vehicle, failure to stop for an emergency vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the roadway and five counts of failure to obey a traffic control device.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Greg Lyon assessed the illicit behavior of the bike rally and damage to property in a statement to the press:
“An Atlanta police car was damaged by individuals who were riding recklessly in a pack of at least 100 ATVs and motorcycles throughout the city. One of the ATVs stalled at the intersection of Northside and Marietta. An officer who was monitoring the group attempted to apprehend the driver of the stalled ATV on foot and injured his leg as he fell on gravel during a brief foot chase. As he engaged in a foot chase, several members of the pack doubled back around, climbed on the hood of the empty patrol vehicle and began to kick the front windshield, causing damage. The ATV was processed and impounded.”
Frost has already been released. He contradicts police claims that his Slingshot was unregistered.
