Kevin Hart Called a ‘Money Whore’ by Sony Pictures Executive

Whoever it is that hacked Sony Pictures is not playing. They’ve got the studio by the cojones and they know it and now they’re proving it.
The latest salvo from the mystery hackers includes a couple of memos/emails about two big name celebs that’s going to cause a lot of awkwardness, to say the least.
In one email, Kevin Hart was referred to as a “Money Whore.” More about that below.
In another, Producer Scott Rudin allegedly called Angelina Jolie a “minimally talented spoiled brat.” It’s all over that Steve Jobs movie that notoriously couldn’t get off the ground at Sony.
Supposedly, Jolie was upset that director David Fincher was scheduled to do that movie instead of her revival of the Cleopatra story.
Here’s what Rudin wrote:
“I’m not destroying my career over a minimally talented spoiled brat. … She’s a camp event and a celebrity and that’s all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming.”
Yep, like we said, awkward.
But then there’s this from senior studio exec Clint Culpepper regarding Kevin Hart (via TMZ):
Culpepper sent several emails to studio heads, complaining that Hart made $3 million and then $4 million for his last 2 Sony flicks, yet when he was asked to tweet out a plug for “Think Like a Man Too,” his agent balked because he felt Kevin’s expertise in social media was worth additional money.
Culpepper suggests they put the screws to Kevin, writing, “I’m tempted to suggest we call his bluff. If he doesn’t do his normal routine, his film will not open as well and his brand will appear diminished and he will — in fact — be f***ing himself because we have his next 2 immediate films.”
Oops. Real, real, awkward. Although when you think bout it, Culpepper may have a point. It’s the little things that make a BIG difference.
Anyway, like we said, the leakers/hackers, who are thought to be in North Korea – or working on behalf of the North Korean government – are stepping uptheir war with Sony Pictures to stop the release of “The Interview,” the Seth Rogin/James Franco action-comedy that deals with a covert attempt to kill North Korea’s leader Kim Jung Un. So far, the film is still set to premiere tomorrow night.
