…Before The $20 Close-Up
Long before Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew announced that Harriet Tubman would be replacing the slaveholder Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill; she appeared in Chicago. Ms. Tubman, the former slave, and abolitionist literally appeared at 111th and Cottage Grove Avenue, standing in a doorway.
Appearing in a mural created by an unknown artist, Harriet Tubman, in all her glory looked completely alive and well. And judging by the look on her face is not too pleased with what’s happening in Chicago. As if to remind us of the sacrifices that our ancestors made to give us better opportunities, the life-size mural sends chills down the spine.
Yet another sign of the Age of Aquarius, and the feminine energy taking over the universe. Read the story here:
