The Chicago Department of Family and Support Services operates six cooling centers during the summer months. Additional facilities are opened as needed in libraries, Park District buildings, senior centers and other community venues.
The Chicago Department of Family and Support Services operates six cooling centers during the summer months. Additional facilities are opened as needed in libraries, Park District buildings, senior centers and other community venues.
Centers are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

*Englewood Community Service Center, 845 W. 69th St.
*North Area Community Service Center, 4740 N. Sheridan
*King Community Service Center, 4314 S. Cottage Grove
*South Chicago Community Service Cetner, 8650 S. Commercial
