Chicago’s own vocalist Simone Green welcomed more than 150 guests to an unforgettable evening in celebration of her new single, “Black Queen,” during her official release party held Tuesday, February 24th at Rhoyal Bistro Live. The event brought together influencers, media giants, creatives, and supporters for a night centered on music, empowerment, and sisterhood.
Green delivered a captivating live performance of “Black Queen,” showcasing the emotion and strength behind the record while affirming her place as one of Chicago’s most compelling emerging voices. Guests were also treated to the exclusive premiere of the official “Black Queen” music video, offering a first look at the powerful visual companion to the single.
In an intimate and symbolic moment that defined the evening, each woman in attendance participated in a crown-placing ceremony, placing a crown on the woman to her left—a gesture honoring unity, affirmation, and the shared power of Black womanhood. The experience created a deeply emotional and memorable highlight that resonated throughout the room.
Simone Green also surprised guests with a live snippet of her forthcoming single, “The Message,” giving attendees an early preview of what’s next in her musical journey. The celebration concluded with curated gift bags distributed to guests as a token of appreciation for their support.
