Harold Dawson will perform a blend of R&B and Smooth Jazz on Sunday, October 25, at Arcada Theatre, followed by chart-topping classics from The Stylistics.
Harold Dawson, 31, is a Chicago jazz musician specializing in Smooth Jazz, blending R&B, funk, and soul. Dawson received his first saxophone at age 13 and has been performing professionally for three years.
Dawson recently released his debut album, Dream Chaser, on July 31, 2026. The album is currently ranked No. 8 on the Urban Influencers Smooth Jazz Charts. His debut hit single, “Clockwork,” from the album, is currently ranked No. 42 on the national Groove Jazz Charts.
On Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 7 p.m., Dawson will return to Arcada Theatre following his performance there last November, when he opened for Gladys Knight. This time, he will serve as the opening act for Soul Dance Party with The Stylistics at Arcada Theatre, located at 105 E. Main St. in St. Charles, Illinois.
As the show’s special guest, Dawson will perform a 30-minute set with his live band, showcasing music from Dream Chaser alongside R&B and Smooth Jazz covers by artists who have inspired him, including Boney James, Kenny G, and Dave Koz.
“It’s quite an honor to share the same stage with musical geniuses and legends,” said Dawson. “My performance is positioned to set the tone for what will be another historical moment for The Stylistics. The Stylistics are no strangers to putting on a great show.”
The Stylistics, an R&B and soul group best known for topping the music charts during the 1970s, achieved 12 consecutive Top Ten songs, including “You Are Everything,” “Betcha by Golly, Wow,” “I’m Stone in Love With You,” “Break Up to Make Up,” and “You Make Me Feel Brand New.” Current group members include Airrion Love, Herb Murrell, and Jason Sharp.
