Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has died at the age of 22.
Krissy passed away in a suburban Atlanta hospice care facility where she’s been since June 24 when her family decided to take her off the life support system that had kept her alive, albeit brain dead, for the past six months.
The family says Bobbi Kristina was surrounded by family and, “She is finally at peace in the arms of God, tmz.com reported.
Bobbi Kristina was found submerged in her bathtub on January 31, face down, and had been unconscious for anywhere between between 2 and 5 minutes. Paramedics were able to resuscitate her, but she was in a medically induced coma and placed on life support. She never regain consciousness.
Pat Houston and Bobby Brown, the co-guardians for Bobbi Kristina, were the ones who decided to order doctors to take away the life-saving medications.
As for Nick Gordon … District Attorney Paul Howard of Fulton County in Atlanta said his office had gained greater interest in speaking with Bobbi Kristina’s alleged “husband” about how Bobbi Kristina wound up in the condition she was found in their townhouse in Roswell, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta. Doctors at the local hospital in Gwinnett County reportedly found bruises on Bobbi Kristina’s face and body after Gordon and a friend, Max Lomas, found her in the tub.
Lomas, a close family friend, reportedly did drugs with both Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon for years.
The manner of Krissy’s death is eerie when you consider that her legendary mother was found dead face-down in a tub of water on the eve of the Grammy Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif., three years ago.
