Bishop T.D. Jakes Closes Out The Woman’s Conference “Woman, Art Thou Loosed!” With Evolution

After more than 25 years of the popular women’s conference, Bishop T.D. Jakes has ended “Woman, Art Thou Loosed!”

This year’s summit titled “The Grand Finale” took place at Georgia World Congress Center. A source of inspiration to women for several years, “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” chose to host its final conference in Atlanta, where the very first conference was held.

During the finale Bishop T.D. Jakes surprises his daughter Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts, by calling her onto the stage and anointing her as the voice to carry on his legacy of ministry and conference for women.

“When you walk onto this stage,” Bishop T.D. Jakes says to Pastor Jakes Roberts. “You’re walking into your destiny. After 30 years of Woman, Thou Art Loosed! and 45 years of preaching the Gospel, the time has come that I must decrease, and you must increase.” Bishop Jakes continues, “This is not an inheritance; this is a calling. You are not standing on this stage for family legacy. This is not a favor, but a divine assignment that Woman, Thou Art Loosed! must evolve.”

Since its start in 1996, “Woman, Art Thou Loosed!” has been a movement of empowerment for women across the world. More than 340,000 women have attended the faith-based summit to learn how to use their strengths to overcome life’s obstacles.

Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts will take on the role as the leader of the next generation of women’s leadership. In 2017, she launched “Woman Evolve,” a ministry focused on helping women embrace their fullness. Since its beginning, “Woman Evolve” has guided women to healing and love for themselves.

As Bishop Jakes anoints Pastor Jakes Roberts with holy oil, he says to her, “With every drop of oil that falls upon your head, may the strength and power of the Almighty God rest upon your life.”

T.D. Jakes then commissioned the 20,000-plus women in attendance to go forth and evolve into their destiny. Pastor Jakes Roberts closes out the summit saying, “If one can chase one-thousand.  Then a few of us can put the devil on notice that we’ve just been loosed to evolve into the next dimension.”
