Are you speaking phrases that can destroy your life? You may not realize it, but the words you speak go out into the universe and come back to you. For example, if you keep saying, “I am ugly,” you may encounter people who snicker at the way your dress. Or your relatives may say, “You’d be so pretty or handsome if you’d lose 30 pounds.” Is this a coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. Whatever you put your attention on magnifies. You tune into a frequency and people and situations show up in your life that mirror back to you what you’ve been thinking and speaking.
Words are powerful, especially when you put emotion behind them. Think about this. Have you ever gotten mad at someone for treating you badly and said, “I hate you. I hope you trip and fall?” Unfortunately, the energy and emotion behind these statements can come back to you. Remember, what you give out comes back to you. Some refer to this as karma. But it’s nothing more than you giving off a negative vibration that boomerangs back to you.
Some of you may have had others speak negatively over you. Think back to elementary, middle and high school. Did you have a teacher who said, “You won’t amount to anything?” First, forgive your teacher because he or she probably had no idea his or her words could take root in your subconscious mind. Second, delete the stinky phrase from your mind. Finally, replace the phrase with a positive one such as, “I can be and do anything I want.”
