J’Arnay Harris has called Flossmoor, IL, home for more than a decade. A multidisciplinary career woman, she is dedicated to creating pathways for future generations to thrive. Her mission is to equip public service leaders with the tools to expand access to transformative resources, modernize their organizations, and strengthen community connection.
With expertise in integrated marketing and communications, grant writing, and administrative management, J’Arnay supports municipalities, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations in delivering life-changing opportunities. Her holistic, intergenerational approach fuels her commitment to building strong, resilient communities.
J’Arnay’s diverse career spans corporate marketing, nonprofit development, political consulting, and municipal administration. She has served as the District Director for Illinois State Representative Nicholas Smith, the Deputy Director for the Hazel Crest Park District, and, most recently, as Deputy Chief of Staff for Cook County Commissioner Dr. Kisha McCaskill (6th District). She also founded Lifestyle Legacy Strategies, expanding her work in branding, digital strategy, and grant writing.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Western Illinois University and a master’s in Integrated Marketing Communication from Roosevelt University. Above all, she is inspired by her four-year-old daughter, McKenzie, who fuels her purpose and determination each day.
