As a Public Relations Account Executive at Broadway In Chicago, Davenport manages high-profile publicity campaigns for major theatrical productions, serving as a liaison between producers, artists, and local and national media. Her work spans press strategy, media relations, content creation, and campaign execution— driving ticket sales, brand visibility, and audience engagement in one of the nation’s most competitive performing arts markets.  

Davenport founded Oak Park’s first community-focused radio show, establishing a sustained platform for civic conversation. Her broadcasting work centers local voices, civic dialogue, and cultural storytelling; she continues to guest host nationally syndicated and local radio programs while contributing to the Black Muse Podcast.
