WASHINGTON – The White House spokesman says he expects President Barack Obama will get GOP support for his economic stimulus package. But Robert Gibbs didn’t say how much. The presidential spokesman made the comment Tuesday shortly after Obama met with GOP leaders and their rank and file members on Capitol Hill in private meetings. Republicans are grousing over the $825 billion price tag and they say the package doesn’t include enough tax cuts.
