Surprise — it was Nick Cannon who walked out on the marriage to Mariah Carey, not the other way around.
But then again, is anyone surprised that someone walked away from Carey because she is a serious head case and narcissistic diva?
The “Who Got Talent?” host has made it unequivocally clear to the people closest to him: not only did Cannon, 33, leave the marriage, the TV personality who came to fame via “Drumline” is deeply concerned about Carey’s emotional state has terminated the union for the well being of their kids.
The actor believes the environment around Carey, 44, is toxic and fears for his emotional well-being of their two kids, TMZ reports. Cannon believes the children are already exemplifying symptoms of emotional unrest living with Carey.
Cannon wants to take their kids away from Carey and into a nurturing and non-chaotic environment conducive for proper and normal growth.
As Atlanta Daily World reported before, Carey and Cannon’s six-year-old marriage began to exhibit signs of frazzle and rot after Cannon imprudently went on the radio and named many of his sex partners before he married Carey. Most humiliating to Carey was the mentioning of Kim Kardashian, whom most in entertainment as just an ordinary locker-room slut with a very pretty face and protruding posterior.
Also, Carey reportedly had a conniption meltdown when Cannon told another radio station, Howard Stern, that Carey didn’t “give it up” until they got married. Afterwards, Cannon tried to mop up the mess he helped create but the damage was prevent to be irrevocable on top of the other marriage woes.
Moving forward into single-hood once again, Cannon is also concerned that his soon-to-be ex-wife’s deteriorating mental stability partially emanates from the vultures (assistants) she has orbiting her her universe who care little for her, except to make money off of her and pay their salaries.
The publication also intimated that he Cannon chose to take the high road in the divorce settlement talks as to avoid exacerbating an already turbulent situation in the imploding marriage.
