Harris highlighted the power of protest, saying, “There is no significant progress that we’ve made in our country without the people often taking to the streets.” She spoke on mental health, especially in the Black community, emphasizing the need for care with dignity: “We need health care also from the neck up, and it has to be done in a way that gives people the dignity and respect they deserve.”
