From ensuring that there are increased investments in early childhood education to highlighting the racial inequities that impact healthcare and housing, now more than ever, Voices For Illinois will continue to protect, support, and uplift our children and families by advocating for investments in their future.

The annual benefit celebrates Voices’ dedication to empowering and uplifting Illinois’ children and families and honors the unwavering commitment of Connie Lindsey; Bonnie Wheeler, Voices for Illinois Children vice chair; Arne Duncan, managing partner at Chicago CRED; Kim Foxx, Cook County state’s attorney; and Joe Dominguez, chief executive officer at ComEd.

“Voices for Illinois Children has been leading the way for thoughtful, deliberate reform to protect and uplift Illinois’ most vulnerable population, our children,” said Voices for Illinois Children’s board member and annual benefit co-chair Patricia Jones Blessman, Ph.D. “It is an honor to co-chair the Voices annual benefit, which both celebrates how far we’ve come in championing Illinois’ families and allows us to forge ahead continuing our strong commitment to creating better opportunities for all children throughout the state.”
