Ulric currently serves as the Executive Director at Surge Institute, leading the Chicago Fellowship while drawing upon over 15 years of leadership in education management. Beginning his career as a Chicago Public School teacher, he recently held the role of Director of Purpose at LiberatED Way (AUSL), championing initiatives aimed at dismantling systemic barriers to ensure equitable opportunities for K-12 students.

As an alumnus of the Surge Institute (Class of 2020) and serving as an Impact Fellow at the Chicago Urban League, Ulric consistently demonstrates a deep dedication to fostering positive collective impact. He's also a Posse Scholar through the Posse Foundation and a Civic Leadership Fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, underscoring his multifaceted commitment.
