Chicago police say 19-year-old Jerome Craft and 22-year-old Deonta Moore are charged in the November 2007 death of Nashon Kimble.
Both were arrested by members of the police department’s Gang Intelligence Section.
Police say Kimble was walking with his brother and several friends about 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 24, 2007, when shots were fired, and Kimble was hit in the chest.
Craft is charged with involuntary manslaughter and is being held on $250,000 bond. Moore is charged with concealment of a homicidal death and is being held on $150,000 bond.
Both are due back in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.
