A tanker truck flipped over and landed on another vehicle around 1 p.m. Friday on the Dan Ryan Expressway, near 47th Street.
Three people were sent to the hospital. One person went to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in critical condition, CBS Chicago reports. Two others went to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in “good condition.”
The accident caused for two lanes and one inbound express lane to be blocked. Traffic was backed up as far as 95th Street.
