Tremayne McPherson believes in servant leadership, integrity, and love for community. These are philosophies that were rooted in his growing up in the Calumet Heights/Jeffery Manor neighborhoods of Chicago.

Tremayne currently serves as a Human Resources Business Consultant with Lurie Children’s Hospital. This role adds to his over 25 years of HR leadership experience in various industries, including Financial Services/Banking, Education, and Healthcare.

Tremayne earned his BS degree from Hampton University and his MBA from Roosevelt University.

Tremayne has a history of mentorship and community service through participation with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Jobs for Youth, and Chicago Scholars. Being a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Tremayne continues to give back to his community. He currently serves on the boards of the Hadiya Pendleton Park Advisory Committee and the Theta Mu Lambda Charitable Foundation (TMLCF), where he served as Chair of the TMLCF Black and Gold Gala which grossed almost $200,000 towards scholarships for youth of color in the South Suburbs.

Tremayne resides in Bronzeville with his wife of over 20 years, Cheryl.
