Tiray Jackson is the Senior Director of Athletics for the Perspectives Charter Schools network, a charter school network consisting of five schools, servicing over 2000 students in the South Loop, Bronzeville and Chatham communities. Entering his 10th year in athletics administration, his exceptional work in athletics has seen him grow his programs considerably, offering over 60 athletics offerings across the Perspectives network. His teams have achieved success while competing in the Chicago Public League and the IHSA; winning conference championships, high CPL championship finishes, state regional and sectional championships and state finalists across volleyball, boys and girls basketball, wrestling, softball and track and field; establishing Perspectives Charter Schools as one of the elite athletics programs in the charter school landscape. In 2020, he was awarded the Class 3A/4A Athletic Director of the Year from the Illinois Athletic Directors Association. His greatest achievement, however, is providing over 500 student-athletes across the network an opportunity to participate in athletics yearly; promoting positive student engagement during the after school hours, expounding on their social emotional development, team building camaraderie and skill development through athletics.
