Given the trifecta of pandemics facing Black and Brown communities; COVID-19, racial injustice, and economic exclusion, Elect Justice is a voter initiative that combines the power of sports, music, and organizing to turn out the vote. Their goal is to empower and mobilize Black and Brown voters by providing access to tools and education about voting and the 2020 elections.
Elect Justice leverages years of culture strategy, community partnerships, and the latest technology encourage voters of color who are critical to winning in 2020 to head to the polls and vote. From addressing gun violence, health care, jobs, policing and prisons, and more, Elect Justice intends to turn out voters of color by focusing on the issues that matter most to these communities. They are currently working with local grassroots partners in Arizona, California, Illinois, Texas, and Wisconsin to reach historically underserved and ignored voters of color by focusing on critically important local races that hold incredible power and directly impact the lives of millions.
