Three men shot in Chicago drive-by

Police say three men have been hospitalized following a drive-by shooting on the city’s South Side.

Fire Department spokesman Kevin MacGregor says the victims are in serious to critical condition. Police spokesman Officer John Mirabelli says the men were outside a convenience store around 7:20 p.m., when an unidentified gunman opened fire from a vehicle. One was taken to Stroger Hospital, another went to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the third went to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Mirabelli says investigators are on the scene.
