Three adults shot to death in Chicago

Chicago police are investigating the shooting deaths of two men and a woman whose bodies were found at a residence in the South Shore neighborhood on the city’s South Side.

Officer David Banks says the bodies were discovered late Sunday night after police responded to a report of shots fired in the 7800 block of South Kingston Avenue. The ages and identities of the victims were not immediately released, but the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said they all appeared to have been in their 20s. Banks says a preliminary investigation indicated that the shootings may have been drug-related. Police spokeswoman Monique Bond says investigating officers found no signs of forced entry at the residence. (AP) ______ Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
