Whether it’s an air and water show, movies in the parks or the state fair, Chicago has a lot to offer this weekend for those looking to get outdoors and enjoy the weather and city.

Saturday, Aug.16 and Sunday, Aug.17
The Chicago Air and Water Show returns to the Lakefront:
The 56th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show, presented by Shell and the City of Chicago, returns August 16 and 17 along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach serving as show center from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. daily. Illinois State Fair:
Members of more than 45 Park Districts from throughout Illinois will entertain fairgoers across the grounds and host activities in Conservation World on Saturday, August 16. Admission is $7 for adults; $3 for children (FREE for children under 5); and $3 for senior citizens. The general admission price is lowered to $3 per person on Sunday, August 17, which is Family Day, to encourage more families to enjoy the last day of the fair. Movies in the Parks:
