Much has been documented about Lynwood Mayor Jada D. Curry’s enormous and remarkable accomplishments. However, Mayor Curry is often quick to express an abundance of accolades to the Lynwood Village Clerk, Karen Wingfield-Bond.
“Oftentimes, the Mayor and the Village Board of Trustees are on the receiving end of many positive comments about the progress of our village. But our progress has been spectacular in large part due to the hard work in which Clerk Wingfield-Bond and her staff have performed in tandem with our team over the past four years. “says Mayor Curry.
Many within the region regard the Lynwood Village Clerk’s Office as best in class. Still, the office is also highly regarded for its swift customer service and its spirit of excellence in serving the community. Upon Mayor Curry’s sworn-in in 2021, Clerk Wingfield-Bond embraced him and his initiative in overhauling the many outdated systems and implementing new fiscal protocols.
Lynwood Trustee Randall Blakey added, “Clerk Wingfield-Bond has a keen sense of the needs of our residents and their expectations. To that end, the awesome combination of the Mayor’s office and Clerk’s office has served as a model of sorts in which other villages have benchmarked. Mayor Curry and Clerk Wingfield-Bond should be applauded for their combined spirits of engagement, cooperation, and teamwork.”
