Party with a purpose and join the Mayor & First Lady of Bronzeville for a night of live entertainment, art and fundraising
Mayor and First Lady of Bronzeville, Andre and Frances Guichard, along with the Building Community Foundation, are excited to present the 3rdAnnual Mayor & First Lady of Bronzeville Fundraiser Ballon Saturday, August 3, 2019 with co-hosts Damon Williams (The Funny Man from Chicago) and Jerod Haynes (“Ben Jones” on NBC/The Village).
Held at Gallery Guichard and the Great Migration Sculpture Garden, The Mayor & First Lady of Bronzeville Fundraiser Ball will feature live entertainment from DJ Marcel Terry and Aziza Lisa, a Merid Tafesse Silent Art Auction as well as a live art demonstration from renowned artist and Bronzeville resident, Roger Carter. Attendees will also enjoy a lavish buffet with passed hors d’oeuvres, a premium bar and cigar lounge.
The fundraiser’s mission is to highlight existing community pillarsand donate a portion of the proceeds to a local nonprofit helping youth in the Bronzeville community to eliminate violence. The Building Community Foundation and the Mayor and First Lady of Bronzeville have raised approximately $15,000 for charity to date.
