A 19-year-old was robbed of $40 then shot Sunday while on his way to a store on the South Side.

A 19-year-old was robbed of $40 then shot Sunday while on his way to a store on the South Side. At about 9 p.m., the teen was approached by a group of at least four Black males in the 7800 block of South Hermitage Avenue, police said. One of the offenders brandished a handgun and told the victim to get on the ground, then rifled through his pockets before shooting him in the leg, police said.
