There’s new blood entering the Lyon’s den as Taye Diggs is joining the cast for season three.
Diggs, who recently had a recurring role on Fox’s Rosewood starring Morris Chestnut, will be playing an Obama-esque politician, according to Entertainment Weekly. Diggs’ character is Angelo Dubois, a New York councilman with a Harvard law degree and a wealthy family background. Instead of pursuing richer endeavors, Dubois instead focuses on local politics and community issues, which inspires Barack Obama comparisons, says the site.
Taye is the latest guest star added to the talented season 3 line-up, including rapper French Montana who will play a music mogul in Lucious’ circle.
