Parts of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile will be closed over three days next week for a taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show." A Harpo Productions spokeswoman says Winfrey is celebrating the kickoff of the 24th season of the show. Portions of Michigan Avenue in downtown will be shut down starting early Monday morning until the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 9. The taping and celebration on Tuesday includes a performance by the Black Eyed Peas. Doors will open at noon and the taping starts at 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. The show will air late next week. ______ In photo: In this Dec. 5, 2008 file photo, Oprah Winfrey arrives at The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast in Beverly Hills, Calif.
