MetroSouth Medical Center Reopens To Assist In the Battle against COVID-19

MetroSouth Medical Center reopens its doors to assist in the battle against COVID-19. Mayor Lori Lightfoot, U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush, State Rep. Bob Rita, and Gov. J.B. Pritzker led the fight to bring life to the health facility located in Blue Island. According to the Chicago Department of Public Health, the center will provide 200 additional beds for isolating and quarantining people who have been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.
