Thousands of Chicago-area high school juniors and seniors received free prom dresses and accessories during the annual Glass Slipper Project boutique event at McCorkle School on the South Side.

Thousands of Chicago-area high school juniors and seniors received free prom dresses and accessories during the annual Glass Slipper Project boutique event at McCorkle School on the South Side.

The non-profit, established in 1999, set aside the first three Saturdays in April to provide the formal attire to students unable to afford prom dresses, shoes and accessories.
