The providers says foster children could be returned to the state, addicts won’t get treatment, senior citizens could go uncared for and domestic violence victims will have nowhere to turn. The Quinn administration on Tuesday further outlined the massive cuts it says will have to be made if lawmakers don’t come up with more revenue and fix the state budget they passed with a $9.2 billion hole in it. Provider groups talked about what the threatened cuts will mean at a morning budget briefing.
