From 11-time Grammy® Winner Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds
Los Angeles — 7th Note Entertainment, Inc. is pleased to announce the single release of “Where Will You Go” by smooth soul saxophonist, Andre Delano (www.andredelano.com). The single, released, Tuesday, September 24, 2019, can be downloaded on iTunes, CD Baby, AndreDelano.com and most digital platforms. The song originally appeared on 11-time Grammy® award winner, Kenny “Babyface” Edmond’s Tender Lover album in the summer of 1989. Delano, who has been touring and performing live with Babyface, opens the show each night with his rendition of the song.
“It is an absolute honor to not only perform with such a legendary artist, but to be assigned the responsibility of opening up Kenny’s show every night is a dream,” states Delano. “Where Will You Go” has always been one of my favorite songs and it feels amazing to take the song from the live stage to a recorded version.”
Andre’s version of “Where Will You Go” is produced by Sacramento’s Derek “DOA” Allen. Allen is an accomplished musician, songwriter and producer who has worked with Brandy, Bobby Brown, Lionel Richie, KEM and more.
In addition to performing live, Andre is featured on Babyface’s 2015 studio album, Return of the Tender Lover on the songs, “We’ve Got Love” and “Fight for Love.” He is also featured in the video of “We’ve Got Love.”
The East St. Louis native began playing the saxophone when he was eight and by the time he turned 18, Delano was touring the country with some of the most prolific artists in the industry. He has worked with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Usher, Maxwell and many more.
