After a construction crew discovered a skull in a Northwest Side Chicago apartment building early Wednesday morning, what could have been a horror story turned into a comedy.
The crew rehabbing the home in the 3500 block of West Wrightwood Avenue were initially alarmed by the discovery, according to CBS Chicago.
The discovery brought police and Cook County medical examiner investigators to the scene. Kathy Utterback, whose family sold the home late last year, happened to be driving by Wednesday and noticed the commotion.
