Shawn Mason is a Chicago native whose creative journey began on the local music scene. During his pursuit of music, he became more aware of his fascination with photography. Shawn started Evan Marcus Imagery in June 2012. From creative imagery to traditional photography, Shawn says ultimately, he is an artist and photography is simply an artistic expression.

During the pandemic Shawn and three other entrepreneurs started a podcast called ‚”Live From The Cave‚” which provides access to the transparent conversation’s men have with each other. That podcast led to a TV show now in its 2nd season with over 30k in viewership per episode. It is seen on Chicago’s WGN Channel 9 and the CW, Channel 39 in Houston TX.

During the day, Shawn serves as an Adult Probation Officer for Cook County. Shawn is also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Humbly, Shawn will tell you ”uncle” to his niece Morgan, a rising star in Hospitality and Hotel Management and nephew Byron II, a recent graduate of USC’s graduate program in film, is his most cherished title.
