September 11: Obama, Joe Biden Mark Anniversary Of Attack (VIDEO)

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are observing a moment of silence to mark the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Obama and Biden will be joined by First Lady Michelle Obama, Dr. Jill Biden and the White House staff on the South Lawn of the White House. The moment of silence will take place at 8:45 a.m.

The president will then attend a Sept. 11 observance at the Pentagon, and this afternoon will take part in a service project to commemorate the National Day of Service and Remembrance.
