U.S. Sen. Barack Obama took a detour from the campaign trial Thursday to return home. The presidential hopeful stopped in Chicago to address the annual convention of the Food and Commercial Workers Union at the McCormick Place Hyatt Hotel.
The senator resumes his out-of-state campaign Friday. The Indiana primary, as well as North Carolina’s is May 6.
