A West Side man was fatally shot by Chicago police Friday after stabbing his brother, police said. Tyrone Bell, 20, of the 100 block of North Bell Avenue, refused to stop stabbing his brother when police arrived at his home. When he disobeyed their orders, an officer shot Bell. Bell was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. His unidentified brother was taken to Stroger Hospital. On Tuesday, police shot and killed 17-year-old Marvin Williams in the 7000 block of South Bishop Street. Police said Williams, of the 6400 block of South Oakley Avenue, was in a car matching the description of one involved in a shooting earlier that day. When confronted, Williams was armed with a handgun, police said. Investigators with the Independent Police Review Authority said a semi-automatic handgun was found at the scene.
